Kevin Stangl Scholarship Winner

Robb Dooling awarded Kevin Stangl Memorial Scholarship

We are pleased to announce that Robb Dooling was selected as the 2nd annual Kevin Stangl Scholarship receipent.  While all applicants were very deserving, Robb was a unanimous choice by the scholarship committee.  Robb, a graduate from Omaha Burke High School will be pursing a degree from Rochester Institute of Technology's computer science program.

The Kevin Stangl Scholarship valued at $1000.00 is awarded yearly to a student with a cochlear implant that is pursing an associates or bachelors degree.  Kevin was a charter member of the CI Sertoma Club, and was serving as President when he died suddenly and unexpectedly in July 2007.  Kevin was instrumental in helping establish a scholarship for cochlear implant students.  Through the generosity of Kevin's family the Kevin Stangl Memorial Scholarship has been strengthened and

expanded.
