We are a support group for Cochlear Implant recipients, and parents, and spouses of CI recipients. Other members include speech and hearing professionals, teachers and others with an interest in CI’s. We don't favor or advocate for any particular brand of implant. We are dedicated to supporting each other while helping to improve our community. Our purpose is to provide service to the CI community in the following areas: · Support for new and potential CI candidates. · Assisting with special needs of recipients and potential recipients. · Education · Advocacy · Other sponsorships based on community needs.
The club is based in Lincoln but members come from Lincoln, Omaha, and various other communities in Eastern Nebraska.

| Meetings We normally meet the last Thursday of each month at the Barkley Center, 40th and Holdrege Street, Lincoln. However, dates and locations vary enough that members and visitors should check the calendar link on this site to verify details of upcoming meetings. Visitors are always welcome. Sertoma’s primary service project is assisting the more than 50 million people with speech, hearing and language disorders. Sertoma also sponsors community projects to promote freedom and democracy, youth causes and a variety of other local community needs, as identified by the individual clubs. Sertoma is international in scope, not bound by boundaries, gender, race or religion.
